💡 The Smart Card saves 5% on every trip, plus an extra 5% on weekdays before 8:00, from 12:00 to 16:00 and after 21:00, and 10% all day on Sundays and national holidays. Keep at least ₹90 on the card, or the entry gate will not open.
Peak Hours
No peak surcharge. Smart Card off-peak discounts apply on weekdays before 8:00, 12:00–16:00 and after 21:00: trains are busiest during these hours. Fares do not change by time of day, but expect crowded carriages during rush hour.
