About MetroRailRoute
A free global metro rail reference guide
MetroRailRoute is a free reference guide for metro rail systems worldwide. Our mission is to give travellers, commuters, and transit enthusiasts accurate, up-to-date information on routes, stations, fares, and tips for major metro networks, starting with 25 systems across India, Europe, Asia and North America.
Who We Are
Every guide on this site is researched and written by the MetroRailRoute Editorial Team. We focus on the questions travellers and commuters actually ask: which ticket or card to buy, how to get to and from the airport, which line to take, and how to avoid paying more than you need to.
How We Research and Update Guides
- Official sources first. We work from operator websites, published fare notices and official network maps, and link to the operator on every page.
- Regular updates. When operators change fares, card rules or timetables, or open new lines, we update the affected guides. Every page shows when it was published and when it was last updated.
- Clear about uncertainty. Where details vary by line or change often, we say so and point you to the operator to confirm before you travel.
- Corrections welcome. If you spot something out of date, email us with the page link and we will review it promptly.
Editorial Independence
MetroRailRoute is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any metro operator. Advertising, where shown, is clearly separated from our guides and does not influence what we write.
