Getting Started
The Delhi Metro is your best friend as a visitor to Delhi. It's fast, affordable, and covers all the major attractions. Here's everything you need to know before your first trip.
How to Pay
Buy a Metro Smart Card at any station (₹100 — ₹50 refundable deposit). It gives you a 10% discount on every journey and avoids long token queues at peak hours. UPI and QR code tickets are also available via the DMRC app.
From the Airport
Take the Airport Express (Orange Line) from Terminal 3 to New Delhi station in 22 minutes for ₹60. From New Delhi, interchange to the Yellow Line for Connaught Place (Rajiv Chowk).
